Harrow Geography

The London Borough of Harrow is centred on the big town of Harrow in Greater London, England. Harrow's historic core was perched atop Harrow Hill, a 124-meter-high hill located approximately 16.9 kilometres northwest of Charing Cross and 8.7 kilometres south of Watford. Harrow is surrounded by Stanmore to the north, Hendon to the east, Wembley to the south, and Ruislip to the west.

In 2017, the Harrow Museum, also known as Headstone Manor and Museum, was renovated and reopened to the public. The Grade 1 listed medieval Manor House was erected in 1310 and has been lovingly renovated to highlight the various changes that have happened over the ages. You will be transported across time as you explore the various chambers. The mansion is home to the Harrow History Centre, which includes a collection of over 15,000 objects as well as a heritage repository for historical study.
